Diabetes Management

In the United States alone, 8.3 percent of the population, or 25.8 million children and adults, have diabetes. However, only 7 million are diagnosed, and recent data suggests that by 2050, one in three people will have diabetes.

Learning how to manage your diabetes can feel overwhelming. Whether you have prediabetes, Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, are newly diagnosed, have never received diabetes education or just need a refresher, we can help.

Our American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) accredited education program uses the AADE 7 Self-Care Behaviors proven to improve glucose control:

  1. Healthy Eating
  2. Being Physically Active
  3. Monitoring
  4. Taking Medications
  5. Reducing the Risk of Complications
  6. Problem Solving
  7. Healthy Coping
